Meet John

John Grennan has indexed more than 400 books in the past decade. He primarily works on titles in social sciences and the humanities, and has completed work for leading academic publishers including Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, and The Johns Hopkins University Press. He also serves as a developmental editor for historians and political scientists working on academic articles and monographs.

John received his bachelor's degree in history from Georgetown University and has a master's in history from Duke University and a master's in journalism from the University of California-Berkeley. He previously worked at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, Saint Mary's University of California, and the Shoah Visual History Foundation.

He has lived overseas in Indonesia and the United Kingdom and currently lives with his family in Grinnell, Iowa.
